The Sixteenth Finance Commission (16th FC) hosted the Joint Finance Commission (JFC) of Tanzania led by Chairperson, JFC on 24 June, 2025. The Tanzanian delegation interacted with Secretary and senior officers of the 16th Finance Commission, gaining insights into Finance Commission’s role, particularly in relation to India’s federal framework and inter-governmental fiscal transfers.
